Ashling Park Estate Cuvee Brut

12% abv

Vol- 75cl

‘The outstanding favourite at a recent sparkling wine tasting. Rich biscuit notes, depth of citric fruit concentration, vibrant, crisp and fresh with a dazzling long finish’ Rose Murray Brown MW The Scotsman June 2020

Based on the 2015 vintage this dreamboat has approaching 7 years on the lees!disgorged Spring 2022

“Smoky pears. Toasted almonds. Massive drive and intensity, with a tightrope balance between richness, power and scalpel-point acidity. This is very exciting wine. The fizz is super-fine but it is the polished-chalk acidity that carries it. Vertical depth of fruit with a river-pebble minerality that lingers on the long finish. ” 17.5 Points. Jancis Robinson

Ashling Park Cuvée Brut NV is made from a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier, hand-picked from their picturesque estate in West Ashling, near Chichester. Amber gold in colour with a fresh and inviting nose with aromas of white flowers, ripe orchard fruits and brioche. The palate is complex, displaying fine intensity of fruit with a creamy, mouth-coating finish from seven years’ lees-ageing. Crisp and precise on the finish. A very versatile English Sparkling wine that will pair well with food or enjoyed on its own.

Ashling Park is a 50 acre estate in the charming hamlet of West Ashling. It may be small – blink and you’re through it – but it’s a delightful place to call home, with the rolling South Downs on the doorstep and the sea just minutes away.

After living here for more than 20 years the Gardner family decided it’s such a great place to rest and play, why not work here, too? The hay meadow was promptly converted into a vineyard and the rest, as they say, is alchemy – because as ideas go, it was pure gold.

Today the Ashling Park Estate business is a real family affair, with everyone playing their part.
