Bunnahabhain Marsala Cask Finish 1988

47.4% abv

For centuries, Sicily’s Marsala wine has been renowned for its robustness and depth of flavour. Islay may be 2,000 miles west, but Bunnahabhin shares the same richness of character, so why not unite the taste of the two islands?’ Andrew Brown, Distillery Manager

Distilled and filled into traditional oak whisky casks on the 1st of December, 1988 the liquid was then transferred to four Marsala Hogsheads on the 7th of July, 2016. With a limited bottling of only 1260 bottles and presented in beautiful packaging, this is not one to miss.

Rich oak, sweet fruit and marsala influence, honeyed nuts and berries, floral notes with hints of candied fruit. Long and lingering fruity finish with hints of sweet oak.
