Cantina Goccia Celi Frugalpac 2018

13.5% abv

This is a blend of 60% Grechetto, 20% Vermentino and 20% Chardonnay, delivering a characteristic Umbrian white wine. The combination of vermentino minerality, the elegance of chardonnay and the flowers and fruit tones of Grechetto result in a superb, crisp wine, perfect for enjoying in the summer.
Celi is best served chilled from the fridge where the bottle retains the cool temperature longer than glass.

“bottled” in the Frugalpac- the world’s first paper wine bottle. The Frugal bottle represents the biggest innovation to the wine industry in decades. Made from 94% recycled paperboard with a food-grade liner to hold the wine, it is five times lighter than a glass bottle. Through its life cycle, it has a carbon footprint 84% less than glass and more than a third less than a 100% plastic bottle and simple to recycle. Its design allows for 360 degree branding across the bottle capturing attention. A truly beautiful innovation and easy to recycle.

Cantina Goccia was born out of the pure love of Umbria and its unrecognised potential as a superb wine producing area deep in the heart of Italy. They are a family run vineyard in the heart of Umbria with the aim to produce modern Italian wines in small quantities. They employ hand harvesting and traditional artisan vinification to produce high quality wines that are interesting and yet still strongly reflect their Umbrian roots.
