Chateau Minuty 281 Cotes de Provence 2023

A pale pink color for this wine with ample aromas. On the first nose, a variation of citrus, exotic fruit and white currant notes. Next, an aromatic bouquet unfolds with complex aromas of white-fleshed fruit and vine peaches, with iodine and spicy notes such as white pepper. This is followed by a delicate, fresh palate that is full-bodied and straightforward.

Château Minuty 281 is a rosé made from a clonal selection of Grenache grapes aged an average of 25 years and influenced by the Domaine’s maritime terroir. Grenache 90%, Syrah 5%, Rolle 5%

This cuvée, created in 2015, is the latest Minuty rosé. Why 281? A nod to the blue Pantone number used to decorate the bottle. This intense blue pays homage to the Mediterranean Sea, whose proximity influences and optimizes the quality of Minuty’s vineyards every day. parcel-by-parcel selection of the estate’s three great terroirs presides over this cuvée. To the Grenache from a single clone have been added the Château’s beautiful Syrah grapes to bring those spicy, peppery notes to the finish. Like the rest of the estate, the grapes are grown under HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certification, with grassing adapted to the soil type and exposure. The grapes are harvested by hand, only free-run juice is used.

Nestled between land and sea in the heart of Provence, Château Minuty has been the wine estate of the Matton-Farnet family for more than 85 years over four generations and has been a Côtes de Provence Classified Growth since 1955.

The vineyard of Château Minuty is remarkably well exposed on the hillsides of the villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle, overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. It benefits from a temperate maritime climate and gives pride of place to southern grape varieties.

For a wine from the estate, it all starts in the vineyard, in a preserved environment. The Château's vines are cultivated using sustainable methods, without weedkillers or pesticides, as part of a continuous improvement process to reduce the impact of its activities on the environment.

Château Minuty is one of the last estates in the Côtes de Provence where the grapes are harvested entirely by hand to ensure their perfect integrity. Jean-Etienne and François Matton, who are deeply attached to their land, are at the helm of the operation and have inherited their know-how and expertise from their family.

What do I pay for delivery?

Orders under £150 are charged an initial £9.95 incl. VAT.

Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly.
Orders under £190 are charged an initial £12.00 incl.

All stock bought from Bond will be charged at delivery cost as quoted by the bond. As this varies dependent on the location of the wines and ultimate destination this will be quoted to you at the point of billing for VAT and duty.

And can we change order.

Deliveries are normally between 09.00 and 17.00 Tuesday to Friday and a signature is required on receipt of delivery. (We do not ship on a Friday for Monday delivery unless specifically requested to do so).

A shipping confirmation email will be sent when your order has been processed and shipped. You will be sent a further email and/or text with a delivery time slot and a consignment number along with instructions on how to amend this if required.

If you are out a card is left, with an instruction to call the local depot to re-arrange delivery. Alternatively, you can inform us to “leave safe”, “leave with a neighbour”, “leave in garage” etc. and we will pass this information onto the courier. Please remember that, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions, alcohol will only be left with persons over 18 Years Old.

We use Mailsafe packaging and double walled cardboard boxes for secure shipping of all bottles. Clear labelling marked FRAGILE is applied and all our despatches.

UK mainland deliveries are overnight from confirmation of despatch with the exception of the following postcodes where deliveries are made on a 2 to 5 day service from despatch :
