The wine cellars of Cricova is the second largest wine cellar in Moldova, after Milestii Mici (largest in the world). It boasts a mere 120 kilometres (75 mi) of labyrinthine roadways, versus MM's 200 kilometres (120 mi), tunnels have existed under Cricova since the 15th century, when limestone was dug out to help build Chisinau. They were converted into an underground wine emporium in the 1950s.

Produced under Blanc de Noir method (white wine from red grapes.) the juice is separated from the skins and fermented without them. It involves gently pressing red grapes to extract their juice while minimizing contact with the skins. The clear juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks for a better preservation of fruity aromas and flavors.
Aroma: this dry white wine boasts an elegant bouquet of wildflowers, green apples and well-ripened Williams pears, with subtle floral notes.
Tasting notes: on the palate, the wine has a delicate finish, with fine floral aromas. The well-defined body and carefully maintained acidity make this wine special and unique.
Food Pairing: this Blanc de Noir Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with light appetizers, seafood dishes, and grilled chicken. It’s also a great choice to enjoy on its own, chilled on a warm summer evening.
