Domaine Belleville was established in Rully at the beginning of the 20th century in the heart of wine-making Burgundy. With 22 hectares of vineyards spread out from north to south Burgundy, its wines express a diverse range of characteristics from both the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varietals. Domaine Belleville was purchased in 2017 by an American couple and group of international friends and partners who have since also acquired the Champagne house Leclerc Briant and Manoir Murisaltien in Meursault.

Domaine Belleville Puligny Montrachet Les Boudrieres 2020
13.5% abv
Vol- 75cl
A very expressive nose of hawthorn, ripe grape, hazelnut, almond paste and green apple. Secondary aromas of butter, hot croissant, flint and honey. A well-balanced, very complex and fine wine. Marries well with foie gras, lob-ster, crawfish, and grilled or fried salt-water fish.
After gentle pressing the must settles for 12-24 hours before the suspended solids are removed. Slow and full alcoholic fermentation takes place in 228 litre oak casks at temperatures of 15-20 °C. The wine is matured in oak casks for a period of 10-18 months with the proportion of oak used varying de-pending on the vintage. The lees are stirred in barrel to encourage body and freshness. Fining and light filtration are used before bottling on the estate.
