A family estate uniting a collection of the most prestigious, historical vineyards in Burgundy, the winery strictly adheres to organic and Biodynamic farming in order to achieve a balance between the earth, the plant and humanity, with the goal of drawing the best from the terroir.

Domaine de la Vougeraie Bourgogne Blanc ‘Terres de Famille’ 2017
12.5% abv
“This is a mix of Hautes Côtes de Nuits and young vines from Clos Blanc de Vougeot. It offers a very cool and mineral approach, but then with lovely tropical notes and clove spice. There’s less new oak this year at 20 percent. Amazing quality at the level, it’s styled a bit like a Charlemagne. Drink 2020-2024.”
From 1.8 hecatres on the plateau of Hautes Côte de Nuits. Alcoholic fermentation begun in the vat and finished in the barrel before aging for 12 month, 30% new barrels, and 4 month in the vat. In 2017 the wine was blended with certain declassified village wines (Côte de Beaune “Les Pierres Blanches” and Vougeot 1er Cru Jeunes Vignes.
