This excellent 15 hectare estate in Puligny-Montrachet is today run by Jean Pascal’s grandson Yann together with his wife Alexandra.
All their wines are barrel fermented with the casks being supplied by four local tonnelleries;
Berthomieu, Montgillet, Meyrieux and Rousseau.
After fementation, the wines are aged on the fine lees for twelve months before being fined and filtered prior to bottling 15 months after the harvest. In 2020, they started picking on 17th August and finished on the 30th.

Domaine Jean Pascal & Fils Puligny-Montrachet 2020

“The domaine owns 3.5 hectares of Puligny-Montrachet principally in the lieu-dit of Les Noyers Brets, just to the south-west of the village below the grands crus. This is rich and aromatic with a fine balance of ripe, honeyed fruit and crisp acidity. Full and generous, this will give a huge amount of pleasure when young but has excellent balance to ensure it ages gracefully. Drink 2022-2025.” Charles Taylor
