In 2023 the Domaine changed its name from Jean Pascal to Joseph Pascal, the latest generation to run this excellent 15 hectare estate in Puligny-Montrachet. Joseph is the great grandson of Jean Pascal.
Currently all their wines are barrel fermented with the casks being supplied by four local tonnelleries; Berthomieu, Montgillet, Meyrieux and Rousseau.
After fementation, the wines are aged on the fine lees for twelve months before being fined and filtered prior to bottling 15 months after the harvest. In 2020, they started picking on 17th August and finished on the 30th. What the future wine-making will look like now the Domaine is in Joseph's hands will be exciting to see.

Domaine Joseph Pascal Puligny-Montrachet Blanc 2021

Vol- 75cl
“The domaine owns 3.5 hectares of Puligny-Montrachet principally in the lieu-dit of Les Noyers Brets, just to the south-west of the village below the grands crus. This is rich and aromatic with a fine balance of ripe, honeyed fruit and crisp acidity. Full and generous, this will give a huge amount of pleasure when young but has excellent balance to ensure it ages gracefully. Drink 2022-2025.” Charles Taylor
