The Dugat family have been winegrowers in the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation since the beginning of the 17th century. Bernard Dugat and his son, Loîc are the 12th and 13th generation to exploit the unique knowledge of wine-making and working in the vines, which has been acquired over four centuries.
Dugat-Py Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvee Coeur de Roy 2008
92 points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate – The 2008 Gevrey-Chambertin Coeur du Roi, from vines ranging from 50-100 years of age, powers through the palate with superb density and focus. This shows terrific depth and richness, but it, too, is painfully young. Still, it is impossible not to admire the wine’s sheer precision and fabulous overall balance. (AG 05/2011)
