Grosset Wines was established in 1981 when the founder Jeffrey Grosset purchased an old milk depot in the historic township of Auburn, Clare Valley. He gave it all the time and energy he had. Ingenuity was essential. Production was tiny and sold out quickly.
Grosset Polish Hill Riesling 2022
12.9% abv
Vol- 75cl
Seen as Australia’s best Riesling. This wine is pale straw yellow, almost clear in appearance. The nose is shy and restrained with aromas of lime and white flowers. The palate is where you really see te quality of the Polish Hill vineyard. The racy, minerally palate is focused and delivered with bone jarringly dry acidity. A fantastic wine that really conveys the to drinker an immese sense of place. No other vineyard in Australia is currrently producing Riesling of this magnitude. The Polish Hill is bottled under Stelvin and can be confidently cellared for 5 to 7 years in order for the palate to obtain more richness and depth.
