The farm of Fratelli Recchia is situated in the heart of the historic Valpolicella region. Tradition and innovation, experience and technical progress, the philosophy that has come down through the generations, a perfect union between the old and the new. In 1906 Giovanni Battista Recchia bought a small estate in Jago, Valle de Negrar, built his house and started to cultivate the few vineyards still present at the end of 1800’s. With seriousness and passion the vineyard holdings and production are considerably increased, the company now having 60 hectares of vineyards in Valpolicella and Lake Garda.
Recchia Valpolicella Classico 2017

Blackberry and cherry fruits, lighty spiced and floral. A classic expression of the Negrar valley style: ripe juicy red fruit flavours balanced by lively acidity and a twist of black pepper.
The Recchia family have acquired an enviable collection of vineyards in both Valpolicella and in Bardolino, towards the shore of Lake Garda. Most of their Valpol vineyards are situated on the prized Jago hillside, where a hectare of vineyard would currently cost you 500,000 Euros. The family now have 70 hectares in Valpol- do the math! They used to supply some of the region’s most famous producers, only recently deciding to make their own. Always a winning combination- great quality fruit, with a producer with whom few are familiar- for the time being at least. The whole range seriously over-deliver and offer superb value for money.
