Roberto Balugani Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro NV
The Roberto Balugani farm stretches over the beautiful hills of Levizzano Rangone, near Modena. This charming site was chosen in 1910 by Venerio Boni who had built on the estate of Casa Paoli – the farmstead that is today the heart of the estate. Thereafter, in 1920, the nephew Cavalier Mario Balugani engaged in the art of creating Lambrusco wine following the rules of the traditional method of natural fermentation in bottles.
This wine is a classic example of Lambrusco, fresh, light with vivid aromas of red currants, violets and bramble. The palate is dry, fruity with textured fine bubbles. It is the perfect companion to tortellini, fresh cheese or mixed antipasti.
