An English gem in Devon, Sharpham is one of England’s most picturesque vineyards. They have been making wine for nearly 20 years and are recognised for producing some of England's most outstanding wines. Set in a natural amphitheatre in 550 acres of West Country farmland, the estate produces stylish, fruit-forward wines from the Madeleine Angevine and Bacchus grapes. Its 14 acres of vines are planted on red loam soils on sheltered slopes overlooking the River Dart. Traditional and new world techniques are employed resulting in a range of distinctive and carefully balanced wines with intense fruit flavours and aromas.
Sharpham Vineyard Dart Valley Reserve 2015
Fresh elderflower and meadow aromas are abundant on the nose with hints of peach and apple fruit. The palate is off dry with gorgeous ripe stone fruit flavours and pleasingly, gentle well balanced acidity. The finish is clean, long and incredibly more-ish.
