For this North Highland Blended Malt, they have ethically sourced ingredients from two local producers who operate within a 39.8-mile radius of Dornoch Distillery. Both distilleries pride themselves on their handcrafted and artisanal methods of production. Moreover, they employ traditional crop rotation, use sustainable biofuels, and use less water than most other distilleries. They also support fair trade and ensure that their distillers are paid above-market prices for their craft.
The skilled blenders have brutally spliced these two distillates together while honouring the rich tradition of whisky making in the north highlands.

Clynelish and Glen Ord from a Refill HHD, all smashed together in a refill sherry butt for a resting period of more than a day but less than a year.

Nose: Peach, Fresh Plaster, Chalk, Lychee, Marrow, Margarine, golden syrup, beeswax, sourdough, Pain au choc,
Palate: Peach oils, tropical fruit, candle wax, milk bottles, vanilla ice cream, cream soda, silky texture
Finish: Great length ‘with lashings of extra value’

After establishing in Dornoch what may be the best whisky bar in Europe (if not the world), Phil and Simon Thompson decided to take their passion for whisky to the next level by building a distillery on the grounds of Dornoch Castle Hotel. Off the back of a successful crowdfunding campaign, Dornoch's first whisky distillery was formed. Based out of an old fire station, Dornoch Distillery is quickly becoming one of Scotland's most exciting distilleries. Inspired by whiskies of a bygone age, where flavour creation meant more than commercial yield, the brothers are experimenting with very long fermentation times (7-10 days) and all cuts from the still are made by nose (and sometimes mouth) rather than thermometers, hydrometers and automated machinery. We've got a couple of years until their spirit is ready to be called whisky so in the meantime the brothers are distilling and selling an incredible Organic Highland Gin and bringing some exceptional single cask whisky from other distilleries to the market as independent bottlers.

What do I pay for delivery?

Orders under £150 are charged an initial £9.95 incl. VAT.

Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly.
Orders under £190 are charged an initial £12.00 incl.

All stock bought from Bond will be charged at delivery cost as quoted by the bond. As this varies dependent on the location of the wines and ultimate destination this will be quoted to you at the point of billing for VAT and duty.

And can we change order.

Deliveries are normally between 09.00 and 17.00 Tuesday to Friday and a signature is required on receipt of delivery. (We do not ship on a Friday for Monday delivery unless specifically requested to do so).

A shipping confirmation email will be sent when your order has been processed and shipped. You will be sent a further email and/or text with a delivery time slot and a consignment number along with instructions on how to amend this if required.

If you are out a card is left, with an instruction to call the local depot to re-arrange delivery. Alternatively, you can inform us to “leave safe”, “leave with a neighbour”, “leave in garage” etc. and we will pass this information onto the courier. Please remember that, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions, alcohol will only be left with persons over 18 Years Old.

We use Mailsafe packaging and double walled cardboard boxes for secure shipping of all bottles. Clear labelling marked FRAGILE is applied and all our despatches.

UK mainland deliveries are overnight from confirmation of despatch with the exception of the following postcodes where deliveries are made on a 2 to 5 day service from despatch :
