Chateau de Gardegan lies on the highest part of the Bordeaux region and has a rich history of winegrowing that dates back to the Roman era. The domaine has recently taken on building works to renovate their cellars, creating a state-of-the-art winemaking facility. They are committed to a more sustainable winemaking process – having restructured their vineyards and viticultural methods to work towards an organic farming certification.

Located on the highlands of the vineyards of Côtes de Castillon, unique in their geological and geographical balance, similar to the coast of Saint Emilion. Exceptionally varied terrain with plots on hillsides and terraces.
Age of vines: 25 years
Majority ageing of 12 months in French oak barrels (20% to 50% new wood depending on the vintage).
