As a negociant and vinificateur (winery), Caves d’esclans identifies vineyards, grapes and wines from château d’esclans as well as local growers to make what has reputedly become the world’s greatest rosé. As our objective is to obtain the best quality grapes and wines, we have created relationships with the local grape growers, committed beside Caves d’esclans, whose vineyards are treated with the same high standards of quality as are the vineyards of Château d’Esclans. Chateau D'Esclans is owned by Sacha Lichine, whose family own the classed growths Chateau Lascombes and Chateau Prieure Lichine in Margaux. Alongside ex Mouton Rothschild winemaker Patrick Leon, the aim is to make the best Provence roses, bar none.

Chateau d’Esclans Garrus Cote de Provence Rose 2021
13% abv
Vol- 75cl
Considered Château d’Esclans’ finest wine, Garrus is made from a single vineyard of nearly 100 year-old Grenache vines, and from Rolle (Vermentino). Entirely fermented and aged in new large French oak barrels for 11 months, the powerful and elegant Garrus was at the heart to Sacha Lichine’s vision in 2006 to make rosé grand. Today Garrus is firmly established as a world class, iconic luxury rosé. It is an impressive and concentrated rosé with a creamy finish featuring rich and spicy notes rivaling any top white wine or prestige Champagne.
“I sense that Garrus will, one day, be mentioned in the same breath as wines like La Tâche, Latour, Vieilles Vignes Françaises and Le Montrachet”
20/20 Matthew Jukes
