Located in the heart of Margaux, Château Giscours is a Third Growth, recognised for its refined and terroir-driven wines. The estate’s vineyards extend over gravelly Günzian ridges, where deep, free-draining soils with clay sublayers favour Cabernet Sauvignon, enabling consistent ripening while retaining balance and freshness under a temperate maritime climate. Plantings are led by Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, with an average vine age of 35–40 years. Vineyard management is parcel-specific, with a clear focus on soil health and biodiversity, supporting precision and consistency across vintages. In the cellar, vinification is carried out plot by plot in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats, allowing for controlled extraction and clarity of expression. The wines are matured in French oak barrels, around 50% new, for 15–18 months, resulting in a style defined by aromatic lift, fine tannins, and balance, in keeping with the classic profile of Margaux.

Chateau Giscours Margaux 3eme Classe 2015
13.5% abv
Vol- 75cl
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Giscours opens with expressive cassis, blackberry and red currants on the nose with touches of cedar chest, roses and pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied with a good core of muscular fruit and firm, grainy tannins, it finishes long.
