Made in association with one of our close contacts in Bordeaux The Chassagnoux family own and produce wines in the Fronsac and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations. From 1955 to 2015, the Chassagnoux family owns the Château Jean Voisin, producing Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wines. The vineyards in the appellations Fronsac and Bordeaux Supérieur have in common the authenticity of the land and their privileged positions for optimal ripeness, giving the wines their well-known tipicity.

Beautiful ruby colour with a silky robe, a well-structured body and well-integrated tannins. A medium bodied classic claret. Cassis and black plum fruit with a real freshness and very good balance. 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon
From 30 year old vines with a yield of 55 HL/HA. Pre-fermentation maceration at low temperature, fermentation in concrete vats, aging in vats for a minimum of 10 months.
