The Domaine has been organic since 2008 and they now have 75 hectares in production. Marcel Richaud has been joined by his two daughters Claire and Edith and his son Thomas. All 75 hectares are farmed organically, only natural yeasts are used, a little SO2 is added at bottling, and there is no fining or filtration.

Intense notes of red ripe fruits, dark chocolate and spicies. Soft and silky with expressive fruits fininishing with spices, liquorice root. Aging potential is 5 to 7 years in a good wine cellar. A careful blend that reveals all the qualities of a Cairanne & is emblematic of the Domaine
35% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah, 10% Carignan and 5% of Counoise. The grapes come from differents terroirs in Cairanne vineyard: « Cabanon, Chantale, les Garrigues, les Combes, les Truffières, la Ridelle et la Canarde ». This choice brings to our cuvée the complexity and harmony necessary to created a Cru des Côtes-du-Rhône Cairanne.The age of the vines is between 40 and 70 yearslocated mostly above the village and in the adjacent hillsides with a southern exposure with scattered stone surface resting on underground Miocene. Aged 10 months : 20 % in foudre, 30% in demi-muids and 50% in concrete tank.Low sulphur addition
