Simon Colin relocated into the winery of his father, Philippe, and took over some of his parcels in 2021. Many regard him as having that “magic touch,” and is viewed as a rising star for several years, not from celebrity credentials but by simply being a thoughtful winemaker who oversees exquisite wines. In organic conversion with biodynamics an ultimate goal.
Domaine Simon Colin Bourgogne Blanc 2023
13% abv
Vol- 75cl
“The 2023 Bourgogne Chardonnay, matured in 20% new oak from three parcels around the winery, has a detailed, finely delineated nose with yellow plum and nectarine scents. The palate has a smooth texture and hints of tropical fruit, though it retains Burgundian DNA. A generous stem ginger note enlivens the finish.”
