Anacoreta is, originally, a brother of Stracacio, but with the fermentation in a wood barrel with indigenous yeast that produced a particular and unexpected fermentation leading to an enhanced alcoholic degree. Remaining for two years in that barrel, the wine then went on to have an oxidative development. The wine has very rich aromas and flavors, a depth and length in the mouth that are truly important. It is an after dinner wine perfect for rich cheeses and contemplation.
Only 908 50cl bottles were filled of this unique and one-off cuvee.

Fattoria Coroncino was founded by Lucio Canestrari & his wife Fiorella in 1981 and have been pioneering quality Verdicchio ever since. The estate is now run by their son Valerio, who has grown with the vines and was a constant presence alongside Lucio's up until he suddenly and sadly passed away at the end of 2021. He will be missed by all but through Valerio the strides he made, his teachings and opinions will persist. Their three vineyards comprising 9.5 ha of their total 17.5ha all lie within 3km of the winery, producing 50,000 bottles per year from their own grapes. All wines are Classico Superiore, from the heart of the traditional zone and the lowest yields. They farm organically, grassing the vineyards since 1983, integrating insects and vine health since 1992 and no fertilizers since 1995.In Lucio's words - “We are proud to say that we are not part of any winecentric association; we don’t believe in any dogmas and we pride ourselves in our use of common sense, in harmony with nature”. They are one of the saviours of Verdicchio, rescuing this region’s wines from a downward spiral of overproduction and a lack of attention that saw its qualities squandered. The Marche DOC of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi is centred on the town of Jesi, Province of Ancona and takes its name from the ancient fortifications of medieval times. Brushed with cooling breezes up and down the river valleys, onshore to begin with and offshore later in the day, this is ideal white wine territory.

What do I pay for delivery?

Orders under £150 are charged an initial £9.95 incl. VAT.

Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly.
Orders under £190 are charged an initial £12.00 incl.

All stock bought from Bond will be charged at delivery cost as quoted by the bond. As this varies dependent on the location of the wines and ultimate destination this will be quoted to you at the point of billing for VAT and duty.

And can we change order.

Deliveries are normally between 09.00 and 17.00 Tuesday to Friday and a signature is required on receipt of delivery. (We do not ship on a Friday for Monday delivery unless specifically requested to do so).

A shipping confirmation email will be sent when your order has been processed and shipped. You will be sent a further email and/or text with a delivery time slot and a consignment number along with instructions on how to amend this if required.

If you are out a card is left, with an instruction to call the local depot to re-arrange delivery. Alternatively, you can inform us to “leave safe”, “leave with a neighbour”, “leave in garage” etc. and we will pass this information onto the courier. Please remember that, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions, alcohol will only be left with persons over 18 Years Old.

We use Mailsafe packaging and double walled cardboard boxes for secure shipping of all bottles. Clear labelling marked FRAGILE is applied and all our despatches.

UK mainland deliveries are overnight from confirmation of despatch with the exception of the following postcodes where deliveries are made on a 2 to 5 day service from despatch :
