The Le Miccine estate is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico region between the towns of Radda and Gaiole. The 7 hectares of vineyards are farmed organically and owner/winemaker Paula is equally exacting in her management of all facets of the winery and business. These are real, hand-crafted, artisanal wines from hillside vineyards in one of the most sought after Classico sub zones. Terroir here is light and the altitude contributes to the cool micro-climate that is essential in producing mature, ripe Sangiovese. Her aim is to produce wines representing the traditional Tuscan varieties in isolation.
Le Miccine Chianti Classico 2022

Vol- 75cl
Winner of the Gambero Rosso 2024 award, this wine is a proud expression of our dedication and craftsmanship. For this vintage, we blended 95% Sangiovese with 5% Malvasia Nera, sourced from the lower slopes of our estate. The wine is aged for 12 months in 49-hectolitre French oak tonneaux, which contributes to its structure and subtle complexity while preserving the wine’s vibrant character.
The result is a well-balanced red wine with fresh red fruit aromas, a delicate touch of oak, and a refreshing acidity. Approachable yet refined, this wine is perfect to shared with friends over charcuterie, aged cheeses, or simply enjoyed on its own.
