Domaine Fournillon, Chablis

Based in the tiny village of Bernouil, just north-east of Chablis, this small family-owned domaine bottle less than 10% of their production so remain relatively unknown. The wines are splendidly typical of the region – crisp and mineral but with an underlying generosity of palate, making them wonderful yet restrained partners for food. Value such as this is relatively unheard of in Burgundy nowadays.
