The current Clynelish Distillery was constructed in 1968 to replace the old one. When the new distillery (roughly three times larger than the first) went into operation, the old Clynelish distillery remained operational and was re-named after the town it's in, Brora. Renowned for it's elegance, complexity and waxy-mouthfeel, Clynelish has been described as the whisky for wine lovers and we totally agree.

The Clynelish 14 years old is a very complex Highland single malt which contains all the elements of Scotland. Due to it’s position Clynelish contains a slight sea character as well as a gentle Highland character.
Nose: Light candle wax, with some sugar. A faint floral fragrance. Scented candle wax comes up with water. Dried flowers on a beach.
Palate: complex and gentle with fruit and maritime.
Finish: long and gentle, some salt and dryish.
