his is a family business handed down from three generations. Today, Guy and Olivier run the estate which is set over 13 hectares of vineyards in the hear of Chablis. The brothers take great care in the winery employing gentle pneumatic pressing, stainless steel tanks and gentle racking to allow the fruit to be the star of the show and yields are kept low to produce expressive wines with concentrated fruit.
Fourchaume lies to the north, along the right bank of the Serein. It has always had a special place in the heart of Chablis wine lovers. Complex and intense, it distinguishes itself by its elegance, its finesse and above all its uniquely voluptuous quality. A naturally generous and open wine in its early years, it can easily age 6 or 7 years before unveiling its full complexity.
The 1er Cru site of Fourchaume is a sundrenched terroir where grapes ripen early, giving this wine more concentration and body. A wine to enjoy now or age for up to 7 years
