Established as a grocery business in 1895 in the heart of Scotland’s Speyside region, offering all manner of groceries from around the world such as teas, coffees, wines and whisky. Their appreciation of the rich tapestry of flavours they encountered led the founders, James Gordon and John Alexander MacPhail, to seek out and complement this varied stock with equally fine produce in the form of Speyside’s many and varied single malt Scotch whiskies. With the purchase of Benromach distillery plus an unparalleled stock of aged and maturing casks of single malt G&M are one of the leading whisky businesses in the UK.

Vol- 70cl
Nose: Distinctly malty initially with fresh aroma of a woodland hedgerow. Delicate sherry notes linger and weave with rich indulgent toffee, sweet liquorice, and orange marmalade.
Taste: Reminiscent of a black forest cake, the initial sweetness develops into fruity blackcurrant jam, maraschino cherry, and creamy vanilla. Freshly peeled orange notes add a fresh lift.
Finish: Well rounded, hints of candied citrus fruits and oak complement the lingering malty edge.
A cracking independent bottling of this excellent single malt known for its weight and power. Aged in first-fill and refill sherry casks, the whisky shows notes of dried fruits and sweet spice.
