The Le Miccine estate is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico region between the towns of Radda and Gaiole. The 7 hectares of vineyards are farmed organically and owner/winemaker Paula is equally exacting in her management of all facets of the winery and business. These are real, hand-crafted, artisanal wines from hillside vineyards in one of the most sought after Classico sub zones. Terroir here is light and the altitude contributes to the cool micro-climate that is essential in producing mature, ripe Sangiovese. Her aim is to produce wines representing the traditional Tuscan varieties in isolation.

Le Miccine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2017
14.5% abv
Vol- 75cl
The Gran Selezione is a premium selection of grapes from a single section of a single vineyard, aged 30 months in oak barrels and 6 months in bottle. 100% Sangiovese. A wine with tapered and refined primary fruits that are fresh, lively and pure. Black cherry, blackcurrant and a little brambly sweetness on the nose: very delicately done. The palate delivers on all the promises of the aromas.
