Established in 1743, Moet was established by Claude Moet who at the time owned a large proportion of the vineyards in the Marne Valley. The house consistantly benefited from good relations with the French hierarchy including Napoleon. Moet is now the largest producing house in Champagne, approximately 30 million bottles and had many brands under it's ownership including Dom Perignon which it has made since 1936.

In the glass, it presents an intense golden hue, indicative of its age and maturity. The nose is rich and complex, offering evolved aromas of candied fruits like apricot and pear, intertwined with notes of honey, gingerbread, and roasted nuts. On the palate, it delivers a generous attack with flavors of dried fruits, honey, and caramel, culminating in a persistent finish highlighted by candied lemon notes.
