Raasay Distillery Single Malt R-02
Peated and unpeated Isle of Raasay spirit are matured separately in first fill Rye Whiskey, Chinkapin oak and first fill Bordeaux red wine casks. A first of this cask combination in Scotch whisky history. This lightly peated dram showcases the unique six-part maturation.
Lightly peated, aromatic smoke. Cherry, apricot, blackcurrant, with black pepper, cinnamon and ginger notes. Finishing with sandalwood, vanilla and butterscotch, with a healthy salty hint.
