Rocco Pasetti’s ideally sited estate lies in the heart of the Collecorvino district in the hills northwest of Pescara. This is undoubtedly one of the best viticultural areas in Abruzzo :
between the Gran Sasso mountain (the highest peak in the Apennines) and the Adriatic Sea, the vineyards are planted on clay and limestone soils at moderate elevations (250 metres).
Former winemaker at the Roxan co-operative in Rosciano, Rocco Pasetti is one of Abruzzo’s winemaking pioneers, and his wines are amongst the best in the region. Today, Rocco is helped by his son Franco and together they strive to constantly improve and perfect their work in the vineyards and in the winery.
Le Rupi range has been designed to deliver fruit-driven, generous wines, championing Abruzzo’s most representative grapes, Montepulciano and the up and coming Pecorino
