Árvay – Tokaj

Based in the village of Rátka in the historic region of Tokaj, the Arvay family produce fine white wines, predominantly from the renowned Furmint grape variety. The single vineyard Pecsar Isten-hegy is hand harvested and whole cluster pressed before being naturally fermented, then barrel fermented for 18 months (300 and 500 liter 2-year used Hungarian oak). It shows ripe peach, william’s pear, maize, lemongrass and minerality spiced with a little smoke.
