Fable Whisky is an independent single cask whisky bottler founded on the art of storytelling, animation and illustration. They bring legendary myths and tales from Scotland to life through these visual arts, while showcasing the best single malts which they hand select to ensure distinctive tastes and intriguing characters - just like the stories of old. Fable’s Chapter whiskies feature a range of different distilleries, from Scotland’s most acclaimed, to those little known. All of Fable’s whiskies are bottled in their purest form: cask strength, natural colour, and without chill filtration. So you're getting a great quality dram to go with the great tales of old.
Fable Whisky Folk Chapter 2 – Linkwood 7 Year Old Cask #300706
59.1% abv
Despite its ghoulish look, Linkwood offers a unique insight into one of Speyside’s best-kept secrets. Delicately floral single malt with notes of green apple and white chocolate define Linkwood.
Subtle but highly complex single malts that interact brilliantly with American Oak. In time, as Linkwood ages, it develops a warmer spicy quality.
Nose: Green apple, bold, buttered burnt. Grassy and nutty with soft some spicy notes.
Palate: Sweet and soft initially, with green fruits and acidity, lemon, crisp green apple, fresh mint and green tea. With water, a soft white chocolate and honey are released.
Finish: White chocolate, lavender and fresh green apple skin deliver a clean and refined finish.
