“The 2018 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva P.56 Oliveto lifts up from the glass with a seductive mix of medicinal cherries, sweet spice and dusty rose. This glides across the palate, elegant and refined, with brisk acids and cooling mineral tones that give way to a solid core of wild berry fruit. The P.56 Oliveto finishes structured and with admirable length, leaving hints of hard red candies and licorice to slowly taper off.”

“Oliveto P. 56”, derives from the number in the land registry of the plot of land with vines that are approximately 25 years old, and from the name of the old farm, founded in the 1940s. From this vineyard, situated at 350 meters above sea level, only the smallest top-quality bunches are selected, to produce – following a painstaking process in the winery – a wine that is complex and elegant but also richly structured and long-lived.

The “P.56” Riserva is produced only in outstanding years from the point of view of the climate and the quality of the fruit, from a selection of less than 10% of the finest grapes from the oldest vineyards. In some years the wine presents itself for longer ageing and is bottled as a Riserva, in 2018 aging was as standard and this was bottled as a single cru.

After purchase we will contact you to arrange either the wine's continued storage in a bonded warehouse as designated by HM Customs & Excise or for the payment of the pertinent Duty and VAT, where after delivery can be arranged. Transfer & delivery fees will be charged at cost.

Tenuta Buon Tempo is located in the far southern corner of Montalcino, called Castelnuovo
dell’Abate, an area with a unique vocation for winegrowing. The 26 hectare property is composed of vines, olive trees and woods and slopes down to the Orcia river on the border that marks the end of the appellation. In the early 1990’s, 12 hectares were chosen from the best area for planting vines. Farmed organically since the beginning of the project, the conversion was certified from 2018 after a few years of testing and seeing a consistent improvement in the quality of the fruit and the environment of soils, plants and air. These ambitious goals of proprietor Per Landin are applied with a combination of hard work in the
vineyard, investing heavily in the cellar and thanks to the collaboration of a dedicated team guided by Alberto Machetti with the help expert consultants Attilio Pagli and Stefano Bartolomei

What do I pay for delivery?

Orders under £150 are charged an initial £9.95 incl. VAT.

Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly.
Orders under £190 are charged an initial £12.00 incl.

All stock bought from Bond will be charged at delivery cost as quoted by the bond. As this varies dependent on the location of the wines and ultimate destination this will be quoted to you at the point of billing for VAT and duty.

And can we change order.

Deliveries are normally between 09.00 and 17.00 Tuesday to Friday and a signature is required on receipt of delivery. (We do not ship on a Friday for Monday delivery unless specifically requested to do so).

A shipping confirmation email will be sent when your order has been processed and shipped. You will be sent a further email and/or text with a delivery time slot and a consignment number along with instructions on how to amend this if required.

If you are out a card is left, with an instruction to call the local depot to re-arrange delivery. Alternatively, you can inform us to “leave safe”, “leave with a neighbour”, “leave in garage” etc. and we will pass this information onto the courier. Please remember that, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions, alcohol will only be left with persons over 18 Years Old.

We use Mailsafe packaging and double walled cardboard boxes for secure shipping of all bottles. Clear labelling marked FRAGILE is applied and all our despatches.

UK mainland deliveries are overnight from confirmation of despatch with the exception of the following postcodes where deliveries are made on a 2 to 5 day service from despatch :
