Lochlea use barley from their own farm, distill, mature and bottle everything on-site at their farm distillery is Ayrshire. The distillery's current capacity is 200,000 LPA per year. Uisng a semi-lauter mash tun, 6 Douglas Fir wooden washbacks, 2 bespoke Forsyths stills, racked warehousing. Long fermentation time, High and narrow cut points, ensuring a distinctive new make spirit with body and bursting with fruit. The farm was home to Robert Burns between 1777 when he was 18 and 1784.

Nose: Bright fresh pink berries, sweet and floral, some oak and tannins
Taste: Fresh juicy red fruits, particularly berries and cherries, sweet vanilla and almond flavours like a strawberry shortcake.
Finish: Finishing with rich oak, cereal, tannins and spiced biscuits.
