The palate is expressive and vivid with generous fruit and flavours of peach, orange zest, grapefruit and wild herbs in a framework of textured salinity backed by a long sapid finish.”

Teodor Belo Selekcija is a blend of 60% Ribolla Gialla with 40% Sauvignon Vert. Grapes undergo skin maceration, 14 & 2 days respectively, then ferment takes place on the skins in 30hl conical oak for the Ribolla Gialla (6 days) and stainless steel for the Sauvignon Vert (2 days). The individual wines are aged for 22 months in both 500l barrel for the Sauvignon Vert and 30hl barrel for the Ribolla. Bold structure, dried flowers and vanilla filled with dried peach, apricot and apple with a long mineral finish. 280 cases made

The Selekcija range of Cru Selections are all sourced from old vines growing in the very best sites. The wines are fermented in wood on the skins and then undergo a long aging in large wood.

The Slovenian region of Brda lies immediately to the east of Italy’s Collio region. The two denominations, in reality, comprise one contiguous quality wine zone whose terroir is rudely bisected by an international border. Today many winemakers and grapes cross the border in both directions in short journeys from vineyard to cellar. The Simcic family trace their wine making story in the region back to 1860. Their aim is to respect the historic traditions of the region in both viticulture and wine-making. The 24 Hectare estate's vineyards are farmed organically, yields are kept low and only natural yeasts are used. Marjan is one of the best winemakers in Europe and has honed his knowledge of his land all his life and works to progress the quality of the wines tirelessly every year. The wines are divided into three distinct ranges. Classic ( younger vines, all stainless steel, short maceration with lees aging). Cru Selection (single vineyard, oak ferment and aging, some skin contact). Opoka ( the oldest vines of the Crus, planted on the prized Opoka Soil, longer aging)

What do I pay for delivery?

Orders under £150 are charged an initial £9.95 incl. VAT.

Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly.
Orders under £190 are charged an initial £12.00 incl.

All stock bought from Bond will be charged at delivery cost as quoted by the bond. As this varies dependent on the location of the wines and ultimate destination this will be quoted to you at the point of billing for VAT and duty.

And can we change order.

Deliveries are normally between 09.00 and 17.00 Tuesday to Friday and a signature is required on receipt of delivery. (We do not ship on a Friday for Monday delivery unless specifically requested to do so).

A shipping confirmation email will be sent when your order has been processed and shipped. You will be sent a further email and/or text with a delivery time slot and a consignment number along with instructions on how to amend this if required.

If you are out a card is left, with an instruction to call the local depot to re-arrange delivery. Alternatively, you can inform us to “leave safe”, “leave with a neighbour”, “leave in garage” etc. and we will pass this information onto the courier. Please remember that, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions, alcohol will only be left with persons over 18 Years Old.

We use Mailsafe packaging and double walled cardboard boxes for secure shipping of all bottles. Clear labelling marked FRAGILE is applied and all our despatches.

UK mainland deliveries are overnight from confirmation of despatch with the exception of the following postcodes where deliveries are made on a 2 to 5 day service from despatch :
